KPK among top three ministries honoured with MySTI Award at NICE 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) has received the MySTI Award at the National Innovation and Commercialisation Expo (NICE) 2026 held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The award was received by KPK secretary-general YBhg. Dato’ Yusran Shah Mohd Yusof in recognition of the ministry’s achievement in recording one of the highest MySTI procurement values in 2025, involving goods and services based on local research and development (R&D) outputs.

KPK was among the top three ministries recognised with the MySTI Award based on the highest procurement value.

The achievement reflects the ministry’s commitment to expanding the use of local technology, innovative products and services through government procurement, while supporting the growth of the country’s innovation and commercialisation ecosystem.

NICE 2026, held from 26 to 28 August, serves as a strategic platform bringing together industry players, researchers, technology entrepreneurs, investors and relevant agencies to strengthen the local R&D, innovation and technology commercialisation ecosystem.

The award ceremony was officiated by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
