SERDANG, 31 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi today officiated the launch of Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026 at Laman Tiba 1, MAEPS, Serdang.
Organised by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026 serves as a platform to showcase the products, creativity and capabilities of rural entrepreneurs to the public.
This year’s Laman Usahawan Desa features a range of activities and attractions, including entrepreneur sales, Desa Kirana booths highlighting the uniqueness and potential of rural areas as attractive destinations, agency exhibitions, cultural performances, an Orang Asli Village, TVET services, Dapur Panas, Rural Business Challenge Kafe, traditional games and various interactive activities for families.
KKDW’s participation in MAHA 2026 reflects its continued commitment to empowering rural entrepreneurs through improved market access, expanded business networks and enhanced competitiveness, while supporting efforts to drive the growth of the National Rural Economy.

Members of the public are invited to visit Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026 to explore a variety of products and food offerings by rural entrepreneurs, as well as redeem selected products using free sales promotion vouchers provided to visitors, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah, the initiative aims to strengthen rural entrepreneurship by expanding market access, business networks and competitiveness. – The Capital Post
