GURUN, 3 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Plantation and Commodities Minister YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad inspected the Smallholders’ Farm Road Project (JLPK) in Kampung Sungai Rotan to assess its benefits to local smallholders.
The RM334,000 project, completed in September 2025, is part of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities’ (KPK) efforts to improve infrastructure facilities in smallholders’ plantation areas.
Before the project was implemented, the damaged and difficult-to-access road affected tapping activities and made it challenging for smallholders to transport rubber and latex from their plantations to collection centres.
With improved road access, smallholders can now carry out tapping activities and transport their produce more easily and efficiently.
