PDRM marks Maulidur Rasul with special lecture at Bukit Aman

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) gathered at Masjid Bukit Aman today for a special lecture in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul SAW celebration.

Inspector-General of Police IG Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail was received upon arrival by Internal Security and Public Order Department director CP Dato’ Sri Mohd Yusri Hj. Hassan Basri, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) director CP Dato’ Aida Abdul Hamid, and JIPS Bukit Aman Deputy Director (Religious and Counselling) cum Masjid Bukit Aman chairman DCP Datuk Azhan Abdul Halim.

Organised by Masjid Bukit Aman, the programme aimed to strengthen appreciation of the life and sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW among PDRM personnel.

The programme also served as a platform to instil moral values and a deeper sense of love for Prophet Muhammad SAW in carrying out the responsibilities and duties of the national security force.

The keynote lecture on the life and sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW was delivered by Ustaz Iman Muda Megat Mohd Zaid Megat Azmuddin, Imam 1 of Masjid As-Salam Bukit Sentosa, Rawang, Selangor.

Also present were PDRM deputy directors and Secretary to the Inspector-General of Police DCP Dato’ Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali.
