SUNGAI BULOH, 6 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – A total of 308 students from the Sungai Buloh parliamentary constituency received RM113,500 in early higher education assistance during the PTPK Care Carnival here.
The assistance was presented by Encik Aizuddin bin Abd Gaffal, Political Secretary to the Human Resources Minister, on behalf of Human Resources Minister YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan.
The aid is intended to help ease some of the education-related expenses faced by students and their families as they begin their studies. Recipients comprised students from various levels, including Foundation, Matriculation, STPM, Diploma, Certificate/TVET and Bachelor’s Degree programmes.
Held at Dewan Meranti, U20, Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, the PTPK Care Carnival also served as a platform for the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) and the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) to engage directly with the community.
The carnival highlighted PTPK’s role in providing access to financing for education and skills training, particularly through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) pathways.

Various public services and community activities were also offered through strategic cooperation with government agencies, including PTPK information services, the Unclaimed Money (WTD) counter, Rahmah sales, health screenings, engine oil changes, haircuts, traditional exercise activities, sports events, firefighting demonstrations, cultural exhibitions and blood donation.
PTPK said it would continue playing a strategic role in expanding access to skills training financing and strengthening the national TVET ecosystem to produce highly skilled workers who meet industry needs and contribute to economic development.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Sumber Manusia, the programme reflects ongoing efforts to bring education, skills training and related public services closer to the community. – The Capital Post
