SEOUL, 7 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Defence Ministry Secretary-General YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali has arrived in Seoul, Republic of Korea, to attend the Seoul Defence Dialogue (SDD) 2026, which begins today and runs until 9 September.
Lokman Hakim’s participation highlights Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening defence diplomacy, strategic cooperation and international security networks.
His arrival was received by Ms. Miyoung Lee, Deputy Director of the Indo-Pacific Centre, Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea.

Malaysia’s participation in SDD 2026 is also aimed at deepening mutual understanding and cooperation with strategic partners in addressing an increasingly complex and dynamic regional and global security landscape.
