PUTRAJAYA, 8 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Dr. Ahmad Syazli Muhd Khiar of the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) has been appointed Head of the Orange Economy Council Secretariat at the Ministry of Communications.
His placement under the Cross Fertilization programme took effect on 7 September 2026.
The placement is expected to provide Ahmad Syazli with an opportunity to contribute his expertise, experience and fresh perspectives towards strengthening Malaysia’s Orange Economy agenda.

His role will also support efforts to strengthen the country’s creative and cultural ecosystem.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Communications, the ministry congratulated Ahmad Syazli on his placement and expressed hope that his expertise and experience would contribute to advancing the Orange Economy agenda. – The Capital Post
