SEGAMAT, 26 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of National Unity has strengthened efforts to promote social harmony and community engagement through the Johor State Harmony Dialogue and Harmony Trail Programme 2026.

The programme, held at Balai Raya FELDA Medoi in Segamat on 25 October, was officiated by Deputy National Unity Minister Yuneswaran Ramaraj.

Organised by the Johor National Unity and Integration Department (JPNIN) in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Johor Branch, the initiative aimed to strengthen relationships between university students and local communities.

These activities provided opportunities for participants from different backgrounds to interact, exchange experiences and develop stronger relationships.

The programme also encouraged university students to engage directly with local communities while promoting cooperation, mutual respect and understanding.

The ministry emphasised that national unity should be reflected through everyday actions and meaningful community participation rather than remaining merely an aspiration.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Perpaduan Negara, the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national integration and build an inclusive, united and harmonious society – The Capital Post
