PUTRAJAYA, 26 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah attended the final rehearsal for the Anugerah Seri Angkasa 2026 awards ceremony at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) on 23 October.
The visit focused on assessing technical preparations, event coordination and the readiness of production teams ahead of the ceremony scheduled for 24 October 2026.
During the rehearsal, Abdul Halim reviewed the final arrangements to ensure that the programme’s segments and overall event proceedings could be carried out smoothly.
He also inspected preparations behind the scenes, including the production team’s readiness to manage the live broadcast.
The awards ceremony was scheduled to be broadcast live at 8.30 pm on 24 October through RTM’s TV2 channel, as well as the Communications Ministry’s official Facebook and YouTube platforms.

Also present during the rehearsal were Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Communications and Creative Industry) Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil and Content Development Division Secretary YM Dr. Tunku Latifah Tunku Ahmad.
They were joined by Malaysian Broadcasting Department Television Programme Division Director Reza Shariman Othman.
