KUALA LUMPUR, 15 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – Anugerah Seri Angkasa (ASA) 2026 has received 1,601 nominations, with 60 winners set to be announced at the awards ceremony on 24 October 2026 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).
The 37th edition of the awards, themed “Segalanya Bermula di Sini” (Everything Begins Here), will recognise achievements across television, radio and new media.
According to the Ministry of Communications, the nominations include entries across 60 television categories, 421 radio submissions and 74 new media categories.
Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah attended the ASA 2026 Countdown Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday (14 October).
The event was held to recognise sponsors and strategic partners for their contributions towards organising this year’s awards.

The ministry expressed its appreciation to the participating organisations for their support in ensuring the successful organisation of the event.
Also present were Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Communications and Creative Industry) Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil and Information Department Director-General Erwin Khairul Ahmad.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Komunikasi, the awards ceremony will honour 60 winners during the grand finale on 24 October, marking another edition of the national broadcasting and media awards – The Capital Post
