PUTRAJAYA, 9 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim met with 22 emerging leaders from 12 countries participating in the AZM Global Leaders Kuala Lumpur Summit 2026 in Putrajaya on Wednesday.
During the engagement, Anwar shared his views on the challenges of leadership in multicultural and diverse societies, stressing that effective leadership should be guided by wisdom, sound judgement and patience.
He also encouraged young leaders to remain open to learning and adapting to new approaches while upholding fundamental values such as trust, integrity and good character.

Anwar expressed his appreciation to AZM Global Leaders founder Muna AbuSulayman and wished her, together with the selected participants, continued success in building an international network of future leaders committed to advancing mutual understanding and cooperation.
