SUBANG, 12 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) marked its 93rd anniversary with a Yasin recitation, Tahlil and Friday sermon at Masjid Al-Muhajirin in Subang on Friday.
Deputy Defence Minister YB Adly Zahari attended the ceremony, which served as a spiritual gathering to strengthen faith, unity and solidarity among members of the defence community.
The programme also expressed gratitude for ATM’s service in safeguarding Malaysia’s sovereignty and national security throughout its history.
Prayers were offered for the wellbeing and safety of ATM personnel carrying out their duties both in Malaysia and overseas.

The gathering also remembered the service and sacrifices of fallen military personnel who dedicated their lives to defending the country.
Also present were Chief of Defence Force General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Haji Malek Razak bin Sulaiman; Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri (Dr.) Zulhelmy bin Ithnain; and Chief of Air Force General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Muhamad Norazlan Aris TUDM.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia, the programme commemorated ATM’s 93 years of service while strengthening unity and remembering the sacrifices of personnel who have served in defence of the nation. – The Capital Post
