SELANGOR, 30 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia, Datuk Lokman Hakim Ali, continued his participation in flight training with a Royal Malaysian Air Force (TUDM) Su-30MKM aircraft as part of preparations for the 2026 National Day aerial display in Putrajaya.
During the session, the Secretary-General and the Chief of Air Force also took part in a meet-and-greet session with personnel at Subang Air Base.
The session provided TUDM personnel and their families with an opportunity to interact and take photographs with the Secretary-General, Chief of Air Force and the participating pilots.
They also had the opportunity to observe more closely the departure and arrival operations of TUDM aircraft throughout the training session.

The Secretary-General’s participation in the flight training and engagement with TUDM personnel reflected the Ministry of Defence leadership’s commitment to maintaining close engagement with defence personnel, understanding operational readiness on the ground and appreciating the dedication and professionalism of TUDM members.
The ministry said the personnel and pilots involved remain an important part of the preparations and success of the aerial display in conjunction with the 2026 National Day celebrations.
