KUALA LUMPUR, 14 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Festival Budaya Malaysia (FBM) 2026 continues to showcase Malaysia’s rich arts, culture and heritage, with Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man visiting the festival grounds at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa.
Chiew conducted a walkabout on Saturday (12 September), engaging with visitors, artists and participants while touring exhibition booths and activities held throughout the festival.
He was accompanied by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Secretary-General YBhg. Dato’ Shaharuddin bin Abu Sohot, who also observed the various cultural and heritage programmes taking place.

During the walkabout, Chiew interacted with members of the public and arts practitioners while gaining a closer look at the festival’s exhibitions and activities.
FBM 2026 brings together a variety of arts, cultural and heritage programmes aimed at celebrating Malaysia’s diverse cultural identity.
The festival is being held from 11 to 16 September 2026 at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, with free admission for the public.
