KAJANG, 2 November 2026 (The Capital Post) – The 2026 Hawkers and Small Traders Day Carnival (HPPK 2026) featured business stalls, culinary competitions and family-friendly activities aimed at highlighting local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Held at Dataran MPKj, Stadium Kajang, from 30 October to 1 November, the three-day carnival provided a platform for hawkers and small traders to showcase their products and engage with visitors.
Among the highlights on the second day were the Farm Fresh Latte Art Challenge and the Masterchef Lokal competition featuring entrepreneur Dato’ Seri Vida.
The competitions added to the carnival’s programme of activities, which also included sales booths offering products from participating traders.

Open daily from 9am to 10pm during the three-day event, the carnival welcomed visitors and families to explore local businesses and participate in its activities.
The programme carried the theme Smart Hawkers and Small Traders, Catalysts of the MADANI Economy, reflecting the role of small businesses in supporting local economic activity.
