KUALA LUMPUR, 23 October 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) recognised 166 retired and soon-to-retire officers and staff during its 2026 Service Appreciation Ceremony held at PARKROYAL COLLECTION, Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday (22 October).

The ceremony was officiated by Human Resources Minister Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan to acknowledge the dedication, sacrifices and contributions of personnel from the ministry and its nine departments.

In his address, Ramanan expressed appreciation to the retirees for their years of public service, including those who had served for more than three decades.

He emphasised that the contributions of public servants should not be measured solely by the positions they held, but also by the values, knowledge, experience and work culture they passed on to future generations.

The minister encouraged retirees to continue lifelong learning, share their expertise through mentorship and remain active in contributing to society.
