PUTRAJAYA, 18 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) has flagged off its Hiking Adventure programme as part of efforts to encourage a healthy lifestyle and strengthen camaraderie among its employees.
The symbolic flag-off ceremonya was officiated by KKDW Secretary-General Datuk Seri Suriani Ahmad during a programme organised by the ministry’s Sports and Welfare Club (KKSKKDW).
A total of 40 KKDW staff members will participate in the Hiking Adventure programme at Kenaboi State Park, Negeri Sembilan, on 18 July.

The ministry said the initiative reflects its commitment to fostering an active lifestyle while strengthening teamwork, unity and closer ties among its workforce.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah (KKDW), the ministry will continue promoting healthy living and enhancing the well-being of its employees through similar initiatives. – The Capital Post.
