SEGAMAT, June 2, 2026 (The Capital Post) – According to information shared on the official Facebook page of Dr Zaliha Mustafa, officials from the Ministry of Education (KPM) conducted a site visit to SJK(T) Bandar Segamat following complaints and the submission of documents regarding a land issue that has affected the school’s development.
The long-standing issue has raised concerns over the impact on educational facilities and the welfare of students, prompting KPM to assess the situation firsthand and explore potential solutions.
Also present during the visit and discussion session were representatives from the Sekijang Parliamentary Office, the Johor State Education Department, the school’s management, teachers of SJK(T) Bandar Segamat and officials from the District Office.
Discussions focused on the status of the land, challenges faced by the school administration and possible measures that could be implemented to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

KPM officials also inspected the land site at the centre of the dispute to gain a clearer understanding of the situation on the ground and evaluate the issues affecting the school’s development plans.
Findings from the visit and discussions will be submitted to Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek for further consideration and action at the ministry level.
