KPT, UMPSA discuss strategic direction for higher education

PUTRAJAYA, 2 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Higher Education Ministry (KPT) Secretary-General Datuk Ts. Dr. Hj. Aminuddin bin Hassim received a visit from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), led by its Board of Directors Chairman Dato’ Seri Abdul Razak bin Jaafar and Vice-Chancellor Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah binti Alias.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on current developments, strategic priorities and UMPSA’s future direction in strengthening its contribution to Malaysia’s higher education landscape.

Discussions also focused on matters related to the university’s direction and development, in line with efforts to ensure higher education institutions remain responsive to changing circumstances and current needs.
