KUSKOP promotes MUDRA financing scheme to Indian community entrepreneurs

PUCHONG, 30 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (KUSKOP) participated in an agency exhibition and briefing on the Indian Community Financing Scheme (MUDRA) held at Puchong Convention Hall today.

The programme was held together with YB Yeo Bee Bin, Member of Parliament for Puchong, to provide entrepreneurs with information on financing options suited to their business needs.

The briefing gave participants an opportunity to obtain further information on the MUDRA financing scheme and explore suitable financing support for business development.

Several agencies under KUSKOP also participated in the programme, including Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM), Bank Rakyat, TEKUN Nasional, Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) and SME Bank.

KUSKOP said the approach is aimed at helping entrepreneurs gain better access to financing and relevant support to expand their businesses.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Pembangunan Usahawan dan Koperasi, the programme was organised to provide entrepreneurs with information on financing schemes and support available through KUSKOP agencies. – The Capital Post
