MOTAC Honours Dedicated Staff and Retirees at Appreciation Ceremony 2026

PUTRAJAYA, 21 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) today celebrated the commitment, dedication and excellence of its personnel during the MOTAC Appreciation Ceremony 2026 held at Dewan Sanggar Pujangga, MOTAC.

The ceremony was officiated by Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing.

A total of 257 MOTAC staff members and retirees were honoured in recognition of their unwavering commitment and contributions towards strengthening Malaysia’s tourism, arts and cultural sectors.

During the event, Tiong King Sing expressed appreciation to all ministry personnel for their continuous efforts in ensuring the ministry remains progressive, competitive and capable of delivering excellent services to the rakyat.

The ministry said the recognition is in line with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI and is expected to inspire staff members to continue delivering their best service for the nation.

Also present were Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Chiew Choon Man, MOTAC Secretary-General Dato’ Shaharuddin Abu Sohot and members of the ministry’s top management.
