MOTAC Launches Dataran Malaysia @ Kuala Lumpur Tower to Boost Urban Tourism

KUALA LUMPUR, 26 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Deputy Secretary-General (Tourism) of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), Chua Choon Hwa, officiated the launch of Dataran Malaysia @ Menara Kuala Lumpur at Kuala Lumpur Tower today.

Introduced as part of efforts to strengthen urban tourism attractions, Dataran Malaysia @ Menara Kuala Lumpur, also known as “Visit Malaysia Square @ Kuala Lumpur Tower”, was developed as an iconic space highlighting the identity and spirit of Malaysia MADANI through creative and interactive experiences for both local and international visitors.

According to the ministry, the launch reflects MOTAC’s continued commitment to enhancing the nation’s tourism products and increasing the appeal of Malaysia’s major tourism destinations.

The initiative is also expected to further stimulate the tourism industry in line with the aspirations of the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign while positioning Malaysia as a preferred global tourism destination.
