According to information shared on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya Malaysia, the meeting focused on discussions regarding the proposed transfer of ownership of the MOTAC Perak building from the State Tourism Action Council (MTPN) to the Federal Lands Commissioner (PTP).
The move is in line with the dissolution of MTPN, which was implemented in 2008.
Among the key issues discussed during the session was the resolution of outstanding land tax arrears covering the period from 2010 to 2024, following notices issued by the Ipoh Land and District Office.
