MOTAC secretary-general visits MAHA 2026 to explore agro-tourism potential

SERDANG, 2 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (MOTAC) Secretary-General Dato’ Shaharuddin bin Abu Sohot visited the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show (MAHA) 2026 to explore innovations, technology, products and attractions showcased at one of the country’s major agricultural exhibitions.

The visit provided an opportunity to gain a closer look at developments in the agriculture, horticulture and agro-tourism sectors, including their potential to create economic opportunities, empower communities and enhance tourism experiences.

During the visit, Dato’ Shaharuddin also engaged with exhibitors, entrepreneurs, agencies and visitors while viewing interactive activities, modern agricultural innovations and local products featured at MAHA 2026.
