MOTAC upgrades tourism infrastructure at Jeram Mengaji Agro Resort

Kelantan, 6 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) conducted a project visit and plaque presentation ceremony under its Restoration, Conservation, Renovation and Upgrading Programme (PPUN) for the tourism infrastructure at Jeram Mengaji Agro Resort in Bukit Abal, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan.

The event was attended by MOTAC Deputy Secretary-General (Culture) Dato’ Mohd Yusri Mohd Yusoff.

The completed project reflects the ministry’s commitment to enhancing quality, inclusive and sustainable tourism infrastructure while improving the well-being of local communities and strengthening the competitiveness of Malaysia’s tourism destinations.

The visit also enabled MOTAC officials to assess the completed PPUN project and ensure the upgraded facilities meet visitors’ needs while contributing to the growth of the local tourism economy.

The initiative is in line with the Malaysia MADANI agenda and supports ongoing efforts to strengthen the tourism, arts and cultural sectors ahead of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
