Kuala Lumpur 29 April 2026 (The Capital Post) – myFirst, a brand known for developing child-focused technology solutions, has unveiled its first dual flagship experience stores in Malaysia, marking a significant step in its retail expansion strategy and strengthening its presence in the local market.
The two outlets, set to officially open on May 1 at Sunway Pyramid and IOI City Mall, introduce an interactive retail concept designed to bring the brand’s ecosystem of connected and creative technology closer to families through hands-on engagement.
According to the company, the initiative reflects rising demand in Malaysia for technology tailored specifically for children, with a focus on safety, creativity and age-appropriate digital experiences. The new stores aim to provide parents and children with a space to explore products in a more immersive and meaningful way.
Chief executive officer and founder G-Jay Yong said the expansion represents more than just a retail move, describing it as an effort to redefine how families interact with technology. He noted that the concept centres on allowing users to experience firsthand how digital tools can enhance communication, creativity and child development.
The experience stores are structured into themed zones designed to showcase different aspects of the brand’s offerings. These include features that allow families to test communication tools such as smartwatches and apps, explore instant photography products, engage in creative activities using 3D technology, and experience child-friendly audio devices focused on both entertainment and safety.
The retail spaces also serve as a platform to highlight myFirst’s broader product ecosystem, including wearable devices, cameras and creative tools, all designed to encourage safe and enriching digital interactions for children.
The launch builds on the company’s growing footprint in Malaysia, where its products are already available through online platforms and selected retail partners. The introduction of physical experience centres is expected to further strengthen consumer engagement and brand awareness.
myFirst said it plans to continue expanding its retail presence across key locations in Malaysia, as it seeks to capitalise on increasing interest in technology solutions designed specifically for younger users.
