Noraini Reviews Biodiesel B15 Rollout in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA, June 4, 2026 (The Capital Post) – According to information shared on the official Facebook page of the Kementerian Perladangan dan Komoditi – KPK , Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad visited the Petronas Station in Precinct 16, Putrajaya to review the implementation of the National Biodiesel Programme.

The visit followed an earlier tour of the Klang Valley Distribution Terminal (KVDT) in Puchong, where the minister and members of the media observed biodiesel blending and distribution operations.

At the Petronas station, media representatives were given the opportunity to witness a biodiesel refuelling demonstration and observe how the Biodiesel B15 programme is being implemented at the consumer level.

KPK said the Biodiesel B15 initiative is a strategic government measure aimed at strengthening Malaysia’s energy security, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and supporting the nation’s sustainability agenda.

The programme forms part of broader efforts to promote renewable energy usage while enhancing the value of Malaysia’s palm oil industry through the expansion of biodiesel applications nationwide.

The ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of Biodiesel B15 as part of Malaysia’s transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy future. – The Capital Post
