PUTRAJAYA, 16 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry (PETRA) brought together its personnel, departments and agencies through 15 creative performances as part of its 2026 National Month celebrations.
The PETRA Merdeka Series Talent Showcase Competition 2026, themed “Kesejahteraan Dinikmati”, was held at Dewan Baiduri, Menara PETRA on Tuesday (15 September).
The event featured poetry recitals, public speaking, patriotic songs, acting, pantomime and dikir barat, providing PETRA personnel with a platform to showcase their talent, creativity and patriotism.
The competition served as the highlight of PETRA’s National Month celebrations and sought to strengthen camaraderie while encouraging greater appreciation of the meaning of independence.
The programme was held in line with the theme “Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati”.

PETRA Deputy Secretary-General (Water) YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Rodzwan bin Mohd Baba Sakri and Senior Undersecretary (Management) YBhg. Dato’ Mohd Norhisham bin Musa attended the event alongside senior officials and personnel from PETRA and its departments and agencies.
PETRA’s 2026 National Month programme was also organised with the cooperation of Kelab PETRA and PUSPANITA PETRA.
