PETALING JAYA: Former press secretary to Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Izad Raya, denies talk circulating on social media that the former prime minister had passed away.

Izad said Abdullah, or Pak Lah as he is also known, was currently on a vacation in the country with his family, Malay daily Kosmo! reported.
“The news is fake, as I have talked to his son. Pak Lah is healthy and is currently on a vacation with his family in the country,” Izad said.

A social media post announcing the passing of the fifth prime minister had been circulating on Monday (Nov 15).
Izad, who is close to Pak Lah, urged the public not to spread news about his health condition without verifying its authenticity.-The Star
