PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 103 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database.

Of the total, 26 were classified as brought-in-dead.
The death toll now stands at 27,525.
Most of the fatalities reported were in Sarawak with 26, followed by Johor (15), Sabah and Selangor (13), Kelantan (11), Perak (9), Penang (7) Kedah (6) and Negeri Sembilan, Perlis and Kuala Lumpur (1 each).
There were no deaths in Melaka, Terengganu, Labuan and Putrajaya.

As of midnight, there were 108,997 active cases including 722 in intensive care units (ICU), 386 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 10,555 recoveries reported.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia now stands at 2,353,579.-FMT
