PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 20,988 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

It is a slight increase compared to yesterday’s 18,762 cases.
In a Facebook post, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 1,786,004.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 4,073.
This was followed by Sarawak (2,992), Kedah (2,455), Sabah (2,329), Johor (2,145), Penang (1,600), Kelantan (1,247), Perak (990), Terengganu (987), Kuala Lumpur (731), Pahang (599), Melaka (407), Negeri Sembilan (301), Perlis (90), Putrajaya (37) and Labuan (5).-FMT
