PUTRAJAYA, 18 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – A total of 40 Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Ministry (NRES) personnel have received the 2025 Excellent Service Award (APC) in recognition of their performance, dedication and contributions to public service.
The awards were presented by Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister YB Dato’ Sri Arthur Joseph Kurup during the ministry’s monthly assembly and Excellent Service Award ceremony on Thursday (17 September).
Arthur said the strength of an organisation lies in the values, integrity, competency and commitment of its people.
He called on NRES personnel to embrace lifelong learning, share knowledge and remain prepared for change to ensure continued improvements in organisational performance and public service delivery in line with Malaysia MADANI values.

The ceremony also recognised nine NRES personnel appointed as mentors and mentees to support knowledge sharing, competency development and a culture of continuous learning within the ministry.
Also present were NRES Secretary-General YBhg. Datuk Wira Anis Rizana Mohd Zainudin; Deputy Secretary-General (Natural Resources) YBhg. Datuk Khalid Mohamed; Deputy Secretary-General (Environmental Sustainability) YBhg. Datuk Nor Yahati Awang; Senior Undersecretary (Management) Dato Muhammad Ammir bin Haron; and other ministry officials.
