KESUMA-JTKSM Engagement Session Strengthens Integrity and Governance Culture

PUTRAJAYA, 21 May 2026 (The Capital Post) — Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA), through its Integrity Unit (UI), held an engagement session with the Department of Labour Peninsular Malaysia (JTKSM) in Putrajaya to strengthen the culture of integrity, governance and transparency in public service delivery.

The session was chaired by JTKSM Director-General Haji Kamal Pardi, while the KESUMA Integrity Unit delegation was led by Head of Integrity Unit Ho Ka Nyan.

Discussions focused on the proposed establishment of an Integrity Unit within JTKSM as part of efforts to strengthen complaint management, case monitoring and organisational governance compliance, including preparations for the integration involving JTKSM, JHEKS and JPP.

The session also discussed the implementation of the Integrity and Governance Management System (SPINE) by the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), as well as monitoring efforts under the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) to further strengthen corruption prevention and abuse of power mitigation initiatives.

According to the ministry, KESUMA remains committed to empowering officers through continuous training in disciplinary management, investigation procedures and organisational integrity to ensure a more efficient, transparent and accountable public service delivery system.
