Sungai Rambai, 6 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK), in collaboration with the Sungai Rambai State Assemblyman’s Office, successfully organised the Hello Komoditi Melaka 2026 Festival, drawing an encouraging response from the local community.
The festival was officiated by Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh. Representing KPK at the event was Deputy Secretary-General Haji Shafie Taib.
Throughout the festival, KPK and its agencies operated exhibition and service booths to showcase various government initiatives, provide advisory services and promote locally produced agricommodity products to visitors.

The programme reflects the ministry’s continued efforts to strengthen public awareness of the importance of Malaysia’s agricommodity sector while encouraging greater public participation in the development of an industry that remains one of the country’s key economic contributors.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Kementerian Perladangan dan Komoditi – KPK, the festival also served as a platform to bring government services closer to the people while highlighting opportunities within the agricommodity industry.-The Capital Post.
