KUALA LUMPUR, 15 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad and Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) Secretary-General Dato’ Yusran Shah Mohd Yusof attended the National Energy Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Parliament.
The meeting focused on the strategic direction and priorities of Malaysia’s energy sector to strengthen national energy security and support the country’s sustainable energy transition agenda.
KPK reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the national energy agenda, particularly by leveraging the potential of the agri-commodities sector and promoting the development of sustainable renewable energy sources.
