PUTRAJAYA, 16 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Election Commission of Malaysia (SPR) conducted a training session and presented appointment letters and observer kits to election observers for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election.
The programme was organised by SPR’s Policy and International Division to provide participants with comprehensive guidance on their roles, responsibilities, ethics and procedures throughout the election process.
The briefing sessions were delivered by representatives from the Election Academy (APR), namely Shahriman Abd Rashid, Nik Aminudin Nik Shahar Shah and Nomi Juliana Mohd Redzuan, together with Nik Mohamed Norsyahfiq Nik Othman from SPR’s Policy and International Division.

During the session, the appointed observers also received their official appointment letters and observer kits in preparation for carrying out their duties during the state election.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia – SPR, the training aims to ensure election observers are well-prepared to carry out their responsibilities professionally and in accordance with established election procedures. – The Capital Post.
