Federal, Sabah and Sarawak Officials Discuss Education Development Under MA63

PUTRAJAYA, 18 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Education (MOE) convened a working committee meeting with representatives from Sabah and Sarawak to discuss and coordinate education development issues under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

The meeting was chaired by MOE Secretary-General Datuk Wan Hashim Wan Rahim and attended by Sarawak Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Permanent Secretary Datu Adana Haji Jed, as well as Sabah Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Permanent Secretary Datuk Hassan Mahali.

Discussions focused on coordinating matters related to the education sector under MA63 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Federal Government and the governments of Sabah and Sarawak.
