KUALA LUMPUR, July 25, 2026 (The Capital Post) โ Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Deputy IGP) DIG Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay has called on all personnel of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to continue strengthening integrity, professionalism and unity in carrying out their duties to ensure the force remains trusted by the public and serves as the nation’s primary line of security.
He made the call while delivering his address at an Appreciation Ceremony held at the Theatrette Hall, Menara 1, Bukit Aman Police Headquarters.
During his speech, Tan Sri Ayob Khan also expressed his deepest appreciation to all members of the Royal Malaysia Police for their support, cooperation and trust throughout his tenure as Deputy IGP since June 2023.
He also conveyed his gratitude for the experiences and opportunities gained during his service, reminding officers and personnel to uphold the principles of “effort, prayer, trust in God and acceptance” as a guide in carrying out their responsibilities and overcoming challenges.

At the ceremony, Tan Sri Ayob Khan presented the Deputy IGP’s Certificate of Appreciation to officers and personnel who demonstrated outstanding commitment, dedication and professionalism, contributing to the success of Op Morava, an operation led by the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department. Certificates were also presented to police officers of various ranks serving at Bukit Aman.
Also in attendance were Head of Corporate Communications at the Inspector-General of Police Secretariat (Corporate Communications), ACP Julina Salehuddin; ACP of the Inspector-General of Police Secretariat (Administration), ACP Dr. Mazlan Ismail; and senior police officers.
