PUTRAJAYA, 27 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) held its July 2026 Monthly Assembly in collaboration with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (JPPM), with the event officiated by Home Minister YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
The assembly also featured the launch of the JPPM Digital Ecosystem, the presentation of Bureaucratic Red Tape Reform (RKB) project certificates, and the handover of Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC) complaint posters as part of efforts to strengthen public service delivery through faster, more transparent and integrity-driven systems.kdn 27-7-26
In his address, the Home Minister said the initiatives are aimed at accelerating service delivery, reducing the need for physical interactions and enhancing integrity across the ministry’s operations.
He noted that JPPM continues to play a vital role in ensuring that more than 200,000 registered societies nationwide comply with the Societies Act 1966, while also carrying out enforcement responsibilities and public awareness programmes.

The ministry also highlighted the achievements of several agencies under KDN, including the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the National Registration Department (JPN), particularly through the Mekar Didik initiative, which helps resolve issues related to personal identification documentation.
In conjunction with the National Month celebration, Saifuddin also called on all KDN personnel to strengthen their spirit of patriotism and love for the country. As public servants responsible for national security and public order, he urged ministry staff to lead by example in upholding national values and safeguarding Malaysia’s sovereignty.
