LHDNM Recognised for Cashless Adoption Achievement

PUTRAJAYA, 29 July 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Finance (MoF), through the Strategic Financial Control and Corporate Division (BKSK), paid a courtesy visit to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) to present an award in recognition of its success in the Cashless Boleh 5.0 Campaign.

The visit was held as a gesture of appreciation towards LHDNM, which was named among the winners of the campaign organised through collaboration with Payments Network Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PayNet), aimed at strengthening and expanding cashless payment adoption within the public sector while supporting the government’s digitalisation agenda.

LHDNM achieved outstanding recognition in the ‘Federal Government’ category after recording a cashless transaction rate exceeding 95%, reflecting its strong commitment towards enhancing digital services and improving public sector efficiency.

The achievement demonstrates the growing adoption of digital payment solutions in government services, providing faster, safer and more transparent transactions for Malaysians.

During the courtesy visit, the winning prize was presented by the MoF delegation led by Tuan Haji Ghazali bin Hizam, Secretary of BKSK, to YBhg. Datuk Dr. Abu Tariq bin Jamaluddin, Chief Executive Officer of LHDNM, as the official representative of the organisation.
