KUALA LUMPUR 3 August 2026, (The Capital Post) – The JIWA@Komuniti MADANI: Sembang Santai dan Info On Wheels (IOW) programme was held in Wangsa Maju to strengthen community engagement and raise public awareness on key national issues, including online safety, unity, and responsible consumer practices.
Organised by the Information Department office covering Titiwangsa, Wangsa Maju, and Setiawangsa, the programme took place in front of the Section 4 Housing Maintenance Office, Wangsa Maju, and brought together members of the MADANI Community Wangsa Maju 1, Parliament of Wangsa Maju.
The initiative featured the distribution of various educational materials covering topics such as internet fraud prevention, cyberbullying awareness, safe internet practices, the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) 2026–2030, the Rukun Negara, anti-corruption efforts, unity principles, and public health information provided by the National Blood Centre Malaysia under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

A briefing session was also delivered by Information Officer for Titiwangsa, Wangsa Maju and Setiawangsa, Azri Zainal Abidin, covering several awareness campaigns including the “One House One Jalur Gemilang” initiative, Safe Internet Campaign involving AIFA and Price Catcher platforms, the 2026 National Day and Malaysia Day theme, as well as responsible spending practices amid global supply challenges.
The programme reflects ongoing efforts to bring government information closer to communities while encouraging greater public participation in national initiatives and strengthening awareness among residents. – The Capital Post
