PUTRAJAYA, 5 August 2026 (The Capital Post)– The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has reinforced its commitment to cultivating integrity and good governance through a knowledge discourse programme themed “The World Judges Performance, God Judges Integrity”.
Organised by the ministry’s Integrity Unit, the programme was held at Dewan Sentral RAC, Level 2, MOT, and featured public speaker Syamsul Amri Ismail, popularly known as Syamsul Debat.
In his presentation, Syamsul highlighted the importance of balancing professional excellence with integrity, trustworthiness and honesty in public service. He also stressed that ethics, accountability and responsibility are fundamental values in shaping credible civil servants capable of delivering quality services to the public.
The programme was officiated by Management Division Secretary Zaki Ismail, representing the Deputy Secretary-General (Management) of MOT. Also present was MOT Integrity Unit Head Sofian Haroon.

The event attracted about 230 officers and staff from various divisions within the ministry and its agencies, including the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), Road Transport Department (JPJ), Marine Department Malaysia (JLM) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
The ministry said the programme reflects its continued efforts to strengthen the culture of integrity, promote good governance and uphold the values of trust, accountability and professionalism in the public service.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of Ministry of Transport Malaysia, the initiative is aimed at developing a workforce that excels not only in performance but also in integrity to support effective and impactful public service delivery. – The Capital Post.
