KUALA LUMPUR, 12 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail received a courtesy call from a Prasarana Malaysia Berhad delegation led by Acting President and Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Prodyut Dutt at the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Bukit Aman headquarters here today.
The meeting focused on strengthening strategic cooperation between PDRM and Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, particularly on security matters involving cable theft, security risks and threats, as well as the coordination of commercial crime investigations.
Discussions also covered the implementation of crime prevention programmes through high-visibility policing approaches to enhance public confidence and safety among users of the Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and bus services.

Among those present were Deputy Director (General Policing/Community Policing) of the Department of Crime Prevention and Community Safety (JPJKK) Bukit Aman, DCP Datuk Suryani Sungit; Deputy Director (Intelligence/Operations) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Bukit Aman, DCP Datuk Mohd Sukri Kaman; Secretary to the Inspector-General of Police, DCP Dato’ Mohamad Noor Yusof; Deputy Director (Strategic Planning) of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) Bukit Aman, SAC Mohamad Lazim Ismail; Head of Licensing, IGP Secretariat (Firearms Licensing), SAC Dato’ Kama Azural Mohamed; and Head Assistant Director (Prevention Operations) of JPJKK Bukit Aman, SAC Vijaya Rao Samachulu.
