23 KPK staff honoured for outstanding service, four retirees recognised

PUTRAJAYA, 13 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – A total of 23 staff members of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) received the Excellent Service Award in recognition of their outstanding performance, discipline and commitment in carrying out their responsibilities.

The award was presented during the KPK Excellent Service Award and Santunan Bakti Ceremony, which also honoured four KPK retirees for their contributions, sacrifices and dedicated service throughout their careers.

Minister of Plantation and Commodities YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, who officiated the ceremony, said the contributions of ministry personnel were among the key pillars supporting the achievements of the country’s agro-commodity sector.

She said the sector contributed RM90.96 billion, or 5.24 per cent, to Malaysia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2025, representing a 4.01 per cent increase compared with the previous year.

YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad urged all KPK personnel to continue working as one team, strengthen cooperation, make wise use of technology and deliver services that are prompt, integrity-driven and centred on the needs of the people.

The ministry also extended its congratulations to all recipients of the KPK Excellent Service Award 2025, while expressing appreciation to the retirees for their service and contributions.
