JPJKK director reviews MAHB auxiliary police security operations at KLIA

SEPANG, 13 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Director of the Department of Crime Prevention and Community Safety (JPJKK), CP Dato’ Noor Hisam Nordin, conducted a working visit to the Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) Auxiliary Police at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) yesterday.

The visit was aimed at reviewing the implementation of MAHB Auxiliary Police operations and identifying areas for improvement, particularly in terms of staffing, duties, training and personnel capabilities to strengthen security controls.

During the visit, CP Dato’ Noor Hisam Nordin also inspected the AVEC security system and the capabilities of scanning machines used for security screening at the airport.

The visit formed part of efforts to assess existing security arrangements and enhance the effectiveness of auxiliary police operations at KLIA.
