PUTRAJAYA, 23 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) organised a Public Sector Innovation Culture Briefing to strengthen creative and innovative practices among its staff.
The programme, organised by MOTAC’s Administration Division, was aimed at fostering a stronger culture of innovation and encouraging ideas that can contribute to more creative, efficient and impactful public service delivery.
The programme was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Surrendren Sathasivam, Deputy Secretary-General (Management) of MOTAC.
The briefing was delivered by Encik Mohd Apandi bin Aini, Right Training Consultant, Innovation Studies Sub-Division, National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).

The programme was held on 21 August 2026 from 9am to 12.45pm at Dewan Sanggar Pujangga, MOTAC.
The ministry said the sharing of knowledge and experience was expected to further encourage an innovation-driven culture, generate value-added ideas and support excellence in public service delivery among MOTAC personnel.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, the programme was part of efforts to strengthen innovation practices and cultivate a more creative and innovative culture within the ministry. – The Capital Post
