PUTRAJAYA, 29 August 2026 (The Capital Post) – Communications Minister and Chairman of the 2026 National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) Main Committee, YB Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil, today attended the full rehearsal for the 2026 National Day celebrations at Dataran Putrajaya.
He was accompanied by Communications Ministry Secretary-General and Chairman of the HKHM 2026 Working Committee, Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah.
The 2026 National Day parade and procession on 31 August will feature 328 assets, 22 electric vehicles (EVs), 112 live assets, 22 marching bands and 11 decorated vehicles.
The public has been encouraged to attend the National Day 2026 celebrations at Dataran Putrajaya and witness the various assets, parade contingents and performances featured in the event.

Also present were Deputy Secretary-General (Telecommunications Infrastructure), Mano Verabathran; Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic Communications and Creative Industry), Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil; Senior Undersecretary (Management) and Secretary of the HKHM 2026 Working Committee, Datuk Aminurrahim Mohamed; and Undersecretary of the Control and Compliance Division and Chairman of the HKHM 2026 Sponsorship Committee, Kamarudin Abdul Rani.
