KUALA LUMPUR, 8 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The new Pusat PERMATA Seni Kuala Lumpur is expected to benefit 400 students when completed in September 2027, strengthening efforts to develop young artistic talent in Malaysia.
Ministry of Education (KPM) Secretary-General YBhg. Dato’ Wan Hashim bin Wan Rahim inspected the progress of the development project on Tuesday.
During the visit, he received a briefing on the project from the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Public Works Department (JKR).

The Pusat PERMATA Seni Kuala Lumpur is being developed under a design-and-build approach on a one-hectare site near Jalan Hose, Kampung Attap.
Once completed, the centre will serve as a one-stop hub for various arts and cultural activities.
It is expected to provide a dedicated environment to nurture artistic talent and develop the creative potential of younger generations.
According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Education Malaysia, the project is scheduled for full completion in September 2027 and is expected to benefit 400 students. – The Capital Post
