SHAH ALAM, 24 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Armed Forces Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation (PERHEBAT) and Management & Science University (MSU) have formalised a strategic collaboration to expand training, upskilling and second-career opportunities for retiring personnel and Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) veterans.
Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari attended the exchange of Notes of Understanding (NoU) between PERHEBAT and MSU at Management Tower, MSU, Shah Alam, on 23 September.
Under the collaboration, both parties will work together to provide company-based training opportunities, consider employment opportunities for eligible retiring personnel and veterans, and carry out joint monitoring and continuous improvement.
The partnership also supports the implementation of the TVETPreneur Programme, which has received RM300,000 in funding from the National TVET Council for 50 participants.

Of the total, 30 participants are retiring ATM personnel and veterans coordinated by PERHEBAT, with sponsorship amounting to RM180,000.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening the employability of ATM personnel and providing a more structured and competitive second-career pathway after completing military service.
