PUTRAJAYA, 25 September 2026 (The Capital Post) – The Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) has reinforced its focus on financial governance, accountability and transparency through its third Audit Committee Meeting for 2026.
KPWKM Secretary-General Datuk Dr. Maziah Che Yusoff chaired the meeting on 24 September, which reviewed issues raised by the ministry’s Internal Audit Unit and the National Audit Department.
The meeting focused on ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive measures are taken to address identified weaknesses and prevent similar issues from recurring.
Attention was also given to good governance and achieving the best value for money as part of efforts to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and accountability of KPWKM’s service delivery.

KPWKM said it remains committed to strengthening an integrity-based financial governance system in line with the principles of accountability and transparency in the public service.
